Kaktus Einarsson
(Lobster Coda)


Designed at One Little Independent Records, Lobster Coda is Kaktus Einarsson’s second full-length album, created following his recovery from a transformative nervous breakdown.

We led the art direction for the release, commissioning the cover artist and developing a cohesive language across vinyl and CD packaging and merchandise, guided by themes of ‘serious-naiveté’. The album featured musicians including Damon Albarn and School of X. Cover illustration by Hildur Erna.

‘Lobster Coda’ won Gold for ‘Album Artwork of the Year’ at the 2025 Icelandic Music Awards.
