Memoirs from the radio

Two type posters reimagining Devanagari letterforms as classic Bollywood song titles. Inspired by childhood memories of my grandparents' home in Delhi, where the radio played these timeless melodies. The designs blend floral repeats and block print aesthetics, embracing overlooked Adobe Illustrator brush presets to celebrate ornamentation in a minimalist world.

Half Moon x Apple Music

Commission with the New York based community radio and artist collective, Half Moon, for their debut collaboration with Apple Music featuring outstanding DJs from the Indian subcontinent.

Kaktus Einarsson (Lobster Coda)

One Little Independent Records

Art direction, design and record sleeve layout for the Icelandic artist, Kaktus Einarsson’s album, Lobster Coda. The creative vision on Lobster Coda depicts a sense of serious-naivety both sonically and visually.

The artwork is a combination of colour blobs, charcoal typography done using my left hand, and scribbles and sketches by Einarsson’s toddlers.

‘Lobster Coda’ was awarded the Gold prize at Icelandic Music Awards (2025) under the category ‘Album Artwork of the Year’.

Dystopian Futures

A series of  graphics exploring a digital dystopia. A cyborgist pig with surveillance lenses, pixelated icons of lost signals, and AI-generated faces dissolving into ghostly echoes.

The faces were generated using a mix of Adobe Generative Fill and Dall-E – utilising visual data from online archives. The images were then treated on Adobe Photoshop to create ghostly forms that resemble what was once ‘human’.

All works were created as a part of a bigger visual research into the aesthetics of AI and dystopian futures at London College of Communication (University of the Arts London).

Immigrant Anxiety

This series is about unease. The quiet exhaustion of navigating a system where identity is conditional, and belonging is something to be earned, not felt.

Works include: Kinetic type that shows transformation from being shapeless to being slightly recognisable - metaphor for my identity crisis as a Brown person.

Collage that I had created to celebrate my new work status in the UK while still constantly questioning “Who Am I”.

A heavily processed looping-GIF created using a passport size picture of mine which is a visual description of the amount of scanners and authorities an immigrant has to go through to prove that they are real.

Being an immigrant with a non-White skin feels like constantly shifting between versions of myself—shaped by borders, sound of my accent, endless paperwork – all mixed with an invisible need to prove my worth.

Exoskeletons (in 3D)

Exoskeletons is an unsettling yet vibrant exploration of non-human forms, inspired by the out-of-body armors of arthropods—imaginary fossils brought to life. A study in 3D modeling, it was created using Adobe Illustrator’s built-in 3D tools and refined in Photoshop for depth and composition.
